About me
Jesse James Fain is a Science Fiction and Fantasy Author, Editor, and retired powerlifting champion. Jesse’s extensive experience in martial arts and weapons training leads to vibrant martial tales of revenge and combat that bring a taste of reality to fictional battles, along with a humorous southern twist from growing up with the kind of family polite towns pretend don’t exist.
Jesse began his life in Metro Atlanta, torn between the worlds of nerddom and athletics. Traveling between the sands of Arrakis and the grassy fields of The South’s most holy game, Football. He found his true loves in Powerlifting and MMA, winning two WABDL world championships. Jesse would go on to instruct in martial arts and get a degree in Political Science with a minor in History from Berry College. Outside of writing, he would do absolutely nothing with it.
Inspired by classic authors like Lovecraft and Howard; he decided some D&D campaigns might make decent stories. This began a lifelong passion for crafting heroic stories and dark worlds. He now resides in North Georgia, penning great tales of battle and revenge for you to read while still bouncing back and forth between fantasy and real-world fighting.
